Hello, first I want to thank you all for another great season. Unfortunately life got busy for me in 2022 and I could not give the league the attention it deserves. Huge thank you Rob (Saints) for being on Proboards 24/7 and keeping this train moving. The goal is to continue to make this league grow and become better each and every year. With that being said, I would love to know what you think we can do better, or rules you would like to see added/removed/altered. Please reply to this chain with any suggestions and the rules committee will discuss this off-season.
Items already on the agenda:
Week 14 bye issues for playoff teams
What to do when teams do not set a lineup

Once the playoffs start, I don't think that teams that are no longer in the championship hunt (weren't in the playoffs to begin with or lost a playoff matchup) should be allowed to bid on free agents. Leave the remaining players for those battling for the championship. However, those teams that can bid on free agents during the playoff period can only sign those players to a one year contract (become UFAs (can't be extended)) after the season ends.

One week contracts: I'm sick of getting to game day and finding all of my players in a certain position are suddenly inactive but I don't have 24 hours to wait for a bid to clear.
Solution: One week contracts. Very simple idea. Can only be done within 24 hours of a player playing. They can't have any active bids on them and there must be a roster space available. Player must be started that week, no exceptions, and must be immediately dropped after the game.

I think we should look in to lowering defensive scoring in NCAA by 25-50%. Too many weeks someone would get a couple sacks and put up 40+, making it really hard for the opposing team to overcome unless they happen to have their own defender do something similar. Looking back it looks like the highest scoring players basically every week were defensive players and I don’t think that should be the case going forward.

Not sure if I’m to late to throw in a rule change/suggestion but think the position points could be spread out more. I was the last team in for the NFL playoffs and got the same amount of point that team 32 got, 1 point. By spreading out the points it may also make the overall champion race closer at the end of it all.
