The deadline to redshirt rookies in the NFL portion of the league is Monday at 5:00 PM EST. At this time, any players placed in red shirt status (added to your "minor" roster) will be locked into red shirt status.
Players redshirted do not count towards your active roster count or salary cap.
Once the season begins, you can promote players from red shirt status, (please post these to proboards) however, players can not be moved into red shirt status post deadline.
