With the holiday weekend upon us, I expect the draft to come to slow down a bit which is understandable. We've had some issues already with teams timing out and having their pick be auto selected after the eight hours expire. I kindly ask that you try and be as cognizant of where we are in the draft and when you're picking. If you know you're going to be busy, we kindly ask that you set a queue and place yourself on auto draft, at least for the one pick.
While I think we will be fine timing wise, I do want to get this draft done sooner rather than later so we can start the NCAA draft. If needed, we will run both drafts at the same time, but I would like to avoid that if possible.
I've gone through several NCAA teams rosters in fantrax and so far, it seems as if all freshman have been uploaded into the Fantrax database. With that being completed, we can begin the NCAA draft ASAP. Ideally, we finish the NFL draft sometime in the next two weeks, and begin the NCAA portion a few days after that, giving us more time to complete the NCAA portion before the season begins at the end of August.
Because we will be up against the wall a bit time wise for the NCAA draft, the draft clock will be reduced lower than the eight hours allowed for the NFL portion. That time frame will be communicated before the draft.
