Hello everybody, I wanted to communicate with you updates and changes with the remainder of the NFL portion of the draft and the start of the NCAA draft.
NFL Draft: Beginning in round 25, the OTC timer will be reduced to six (6) hours, with the OTC pick being allowed to trade for the first two (2) hours. Between the auto drafts and near auto drafts, this is getting out of control. This late in the draft there's no reason behind why picks should be taking this long. I 100% understand that life is much more important than a silly fantasy league where the draft has been taking a while, but you know what you signed up for and checking in here and there, or putting yourself on auto is not a massive ask.
NCAA Draft: The NCAA draft will begin on Monday, July 19 at 10:00 AM or 24-hours upon the conclusion of the NFL draft, whichever happens first. This will give us just over a month to get the draft done, so I beg of you, please be cognizant of when your picks are coming up and please turn on auto for the pick if you're going to be unavailable for a lengthy period of time.
For rounds 1-16, you will have six (6) hours to make the pick, with the OTC pick being allowed to trade for the first two (2) hours. In round 17, the clock will be reduced to four (4) and two (2). I know this does not give a lot of time, but again, at that point we will really be up against the clock. If we breeze through rounds 1-16, then we can possibly hold off on reducing the clock. The clock will still pause overnight.
If you auto pick at all during the NCAA draft you will receive a warning. A second auto pick and you will be placed on auto for the remainder of the draft.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
